Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Guard – Overnights – Distribution Center in Independence, KY. You’ll deliver customer service, deter security incidents, and support access control within a logistics environment.

The role is full-time with an overnight schedule (Mon–Sun 10:00 PM–06:00 AM) at a distribution location. A high school diploma is required; background checks and drug screening are standard, with

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry and exit points, trailers, the facility perimeter, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, and potential hazards while maintaining accurate daily activity and incident reports.
