Job summary

Wegmans is looking for team members to provide outstanding customer service and help keep our stores well-stocked with fresh products. You will take orders, package items, and assist customers in locating products throughout a fast-paced environment.

There is emphasis on delivering high-quality service, working with team members, and contributing to a positive shopping experience in a dynamic grocery setting.

Experience working overnight hours; Work Environment: T The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, frequent heavy lifting, pushing and pulling, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, squatting, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers. The average weight range of items lifted is 8-32 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds occasionally. You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors with exposure to and working in cold (33°-55°) temperatures. Basic tools and equipment used include milk crates, dollies, egg racks, box cutter, hand/power jack, compactor, baler, and u-cart.; Customer service experience preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting
