Job summary

Supreme Fitness Group's Planet Fitness location in La Habra, CA, is seeking an Overnight Custodian to keep all areas of the facility clean and welcoming for members.

The role requires the ability to work overnights, be at least 18, have a strong work ethic, and perform duties such as restroom sanitization, stocking supplies, trash disposal, and reporting maintenance issues to the Club Manager.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to work overnights.
• Honesty and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
• Properly dispose of trash and maintain the trash cans.
• Clean/dust items high off the ground (i.e., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters)
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
• Follow "Lost and Found Policy" and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately

Job Summary

The Overnight Custodian/Cleaner will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
• Properly dispose of trash and maintain the trash cans.
• Clean/dust items high off the ground (i.e., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters)
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager.
• Follow "Lost and Found Policy" and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
• Will encounter toxic chemicals.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Moving self in different positions, including bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting, to accomplish tasks
