Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc in Bennington, Vermont, seeks a Crisis Stabilization Support Worker (Overnight) to provide direct client support, assist with basic medical care, and help manage medications within Battelle House. The role involves admissions, discharge procedures, and daily client engagement.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least one year of MH experience, QMHP eligibility, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or related field.
• A minimum of one year’s experience working directly with individuals with mental health issues.
• Eligible to obtain QMHP certification during employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer admissions and discharges, conduct admissions interview and checklist, and inventory personal belongings.
• Assist in basic medical care, monitor vital signs, and help check-in medications.
• Assist with cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation for clients.
• Provide outreach and referral information to meet clients’ needs.
• Participate in committees, quality assurance activities, and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Complete clinical and administrative forms for billing and records.
