Haffner’s is seeking an Overnight Store Associate to cover hours 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Compensation starts at $17.50 per hour with a $300 sign-on bonus and an additional $2.00 overnight differential.

The role emphasizes fast, friendly customer service, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, stocked store environment. Responsibilities include processing transactions, ensuring product availability, enforcing age-restricted sales laws, and supporting the store operations overnight.

Qualifications

• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, fast, and professional customer service.
• Accurately process register transactions and handle cash according to company procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout the shift.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise to ensure product availability.
• Verify identification and comply with all alcohol, tobacco, and age-restricted sales laws.
• Follow food safety, company policies, and loss prevention procedures.
• Monitor store activity and report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity.
• Complete assigned tasks independently and support overall store operations.
• Assist with overnight cleaning, stocking, and preparation for the next business day.
