Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Cashier in Boise, Idaho. You will handle checkout transactions, keep the store clean, and help create a welcoming environment during late-night hours. The position includes a $1.00 shift differential for eligible hours and full-time benefits.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, applying discounts, and maintaining store standards. This role requires flexible, 24/7 availability and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing.
• A team player who jumps in to help wherever needed.
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions and follow all policies and laws.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.
