Job summary

Workman's Travel Center in Lowell is looking for a part-time Cashier to join our team for the overnight shift (2:00pm–10:00pm or 2:30pm–10:30pm). The Cashier will handle monetary transactions with customers using cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate shows dependable, friendly service, accuracy, and good communication. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with products, resolving issues, and balancing the cash register at shift end.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate cash registers, calculators, or scanners.
• Necessary mathematical skills to make change and refunds.
• Knowledge of the company's products, services and policies.

Responsibilities

• Customer service – greet customers, assist with locating products, resolve complaints.
• Cash handling – accept payments and balance the register at start/end of shift.
