Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes in East Smithfield and surrounding communities.

You’ll build relationships with individuals, helping them stay safe, comfortable and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience is required; if you’re reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you. This role includes overnight shifts and earns $15/hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience not required but helpful; must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and daily activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual’s care plan and document services
