Job summary

Meadow View Assisted Living is seeking a caring Caregiver to provide direct, hands-on support to residents in Emmett, Idaho. You will follow individual care plans, promote dignity, privacy, and independence, and help residents age in place with warmth and professionalism.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, vital signs, documentation, and teamwork with nursing staff while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct resident care preferred.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Respect for resident rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) per care plans.
• Support resident mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Assist with meals and provide mealtime support to promote nutrition and safety.
• Measure and record vital signs; observe and report changes to wellness staff.
• Complete treatments or clinical tasks as directed within scope of practice.
• Maintain a calm, compassionate presence and provide emotional support.
• Document care provided and observations accurately per policy.
• Maintain open shift communication to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
