Job summary

Visiting Angels Athens is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to provide compassionate care to seniors in and around Athens, GA. This role focuses on companionship, personal care, and helping with daily activities in the home.

You will support clients with mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed, while receiving opportunities for advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer's care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with prescribed medications as directed.
• Support mobility and ambulation for safety and independence.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Assist with routine exercises and physical activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks in living areas.
• Offer companionship and social engagement.
• Report unusual incidents promptly to supervisors.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
