We are hiring an Overnight Caregiver at Avenues Home Care of Tennessee in Sevierville, TN. The caregiver will provide compassionate, hands‑on support for elderly, disabled, and vulnerable clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well‑being throughout the night.
Salary & Hours
Pay: $14.00–$17.00/hour (based on experience). Hours include full‑time, part‑time, 8‑hour, 10‑hour, 12‑hour, PRN, or short shifts as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, feeding, and continence care, as outlined in each client’s individualized plan of care.
- Administer medications with supervision and accurate documentation.
- Provide housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, transportation to appointments, and companionship.
- Complete daily activity logs and report to supervisors via the agency management system, phone, email, or agency app.
- Perform any additional household tasks specified in the plan of care.
Additional Responsibilities
- Practice safety in all client interactions and maintain a safe working environment.
- Lift or push up to 50 pounds as required.
- Demonstrate honesty, accountability, integrity, and professional judgment.
- Remain vigilant regarding changes in client condition and report concerns promptly.
- Adhere to Avenues Home Care policies, including dress code and confidentiality requirements.
- Attend required meetings and in‑services.
- Ensure protection of client information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Preferred: CNA license or equivalent experience; CPR & First Aid certifications.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with the company’s ClearCare management system.
- Organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Consistent, punctual attendance and ability to maintain a work schedule.
- Fit‑for‑Duty physical condition.
