Visiting Angels Richardson TX is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to support seniors in North Texas. The role offers a range of shifts from full-time to part-time, including 8, 10, and 12-hour options, with pet-friendly environments and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver.
• Minimum 2 years experience in caregiving.
• Pet friendly and able to work with seniors.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful and compassionate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Do client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.

Overnight Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shopPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Overnight Caregiver Requirements

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver
