Job summary

Village Caregiving is urgently hiring Overnight Caregivers to support clients in Poland, OH. The role offers pay of $17-$19 per hour with benefits including Daily Pay, bonuses, health and life insurance, flexible scheduling, and a referral program.

Responsibilities include medication assistance, mobility support, personal care, light housekeeping, shopping assistance, and reporting health updates to the care team. Ideal candidates show compassion, strong communication, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and meal preparation with dietary awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
