Visiting Angels Boise, ID is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to support local seniors in Boise, Melba and surrounding areas. The role focuses on compassionate in-home care, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, medication support, and companionship.

You will have access to multiple shifts (FT/PT), flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advanced training in dementia care. Join a dedicated team delivering real help to families in need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Able to follow dietary constraints and housekeeping tasks
• Respectful, compassionate and with strong ethics
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Physical endurance

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Overnight Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Overnight Caregiver Requirements
