Job summary

Meijer is a family‑oriented retailer serving communities across Michigan. We’re looking for a Food Clerk who will help customers, maintain fresh displays, and ensure a smooth store operation.

You’ll engage with shoppers, share product knowledge, and work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery to deliver a positive shopping experience. You’ll be part of a fast‑paced team, staying active while assisting customers, stocking shelves, and using store technology to complete tasks

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
