Job summary

An industry leader seeking an Automation Technician to support maintenance and automation systems in Hanover, PA. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair of conveyors and PLC-controlled systems, and preventive maintenance while ensuring OSHA compliance.

Experience with 480V AC electrical systems and reading schematics is preferred. Responsibilities include proactive issue identification, collaboration with leadership, and ongoing skill development in industrial maintenance and automation

Qualifications

  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting up to 480V AC systems.
  • Ability to read DC control circuits and electrical schematics.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ASRS cranes, mini-load shuttle systems, and related material handling equipment.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on equipment and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Identify equipment issues proactively and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Complete preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Maintain OSHA compliance and safe work practices.
