Job summary

KSI Auto Parts seeks a Non-CDL Transfer Driver to deliver auto parts to warehouses and shipping centers in Columbus/Whitehall. You will operate a 26ft box truck, load/unload cargo, and meet delivery schedules with accuracy and safety.

Ideal candidates possess a valid license, DOT card, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible hours and a strong work ethic are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Experience driving a 26ft box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
• Possess a valid DOT medical card.
• Able to reach, bend, lift and push up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with the dispatch team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26ft box truck to transport auto parts to warehouses and shipping centers.
• Assist in loading/unloading the truck and securing loads.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes for timely deliveries.
• Verify load security and balance before transportation.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Communicate with dispatch to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organize the cargo area.
• Sort parts daily as needed.
