Job summary

The First Electronics Corporation seeks a Molding Technician to set up, operate, and maintain molding machines for over-molded cable assemblies. You will also assist in the assembly of cables and ensure product quality to meet strict specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with cable manufacturing or rubber materials, connectors, and electrical components preferred but training is provided.
• No prior knowledge required; training available on schematics, blueprints and internal processes.
• Skills include attention to detail, patience, manual dexterity, pride in workmanship and ability to follow training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables according to work instructions and diagrams.
• Set up and start molding machines using polyurethane and elastomers.
• Document mold changes and machine adjustments.
• Operate equipment to over-mold cable assemblies (heat guns, molding presses).
• Maintain equipment and follow safety guidelines to maximize productivity and quality.
• Identify defects and ensure cables meet quality specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles.
