Job summary

Factory NYC is seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support our fabrication and warehouse operations. This part-time role involves assisting the facilities manager, handling materials, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

The position requires a valid driver’s license to operate 24ft box trucks, with forklift certification welcomed. Prior fabrication or warehouse experience and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs are preferred; strong teamwork and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required; must be able to drive 24ft Box Trucks.
• Forklift certification welcomed (will train the right candidate).
• Prior experience in a fabrication, warehouse, or construction setting.
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Strong, positive and teamwork minded communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Manager with warehouse and equipment maintenance and general porter duties.
• Assist in upkeep and minor repairs with equipment common carpentry settings.
• Receiving, inventorying, and stocking materials.
• Loading materials, tools, and finished product for production.
• Keeping production and common areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Operating company vehicles including 24ft Box Trucks.
• Support opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Support incoming and outgoing deliveries and vendor pickups.

Position Overview

The Overhire Facilities Crew Member supports the facilities department by handling materials, performing duties assigned by the facilities manager, and assisting with general facility upkeep. What We Offer

Part-Time Position (Monday–Friday, occasional weekends as needed).

Hourly Rate: $20–$28/hr (based on experience).
