Job summary

LVI Associates in Dallas–Fort Worth is seeking an Overhead Transmission Project Manager to lead major transmission projects from concept through completion. You will collaborate with utilities, engineering teams and contractors, owning scope, schedule, budget, and client relations.

The role emphasizes project execution, financial performance, and growth of the transmission practice within a leading employee-owned firm. Travel to project locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage overhead transmission projects from concept through completion, including planning, permitting, engineering, right-of-way, estimating, procurement, construction support, project controls, and closeout.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, financial performance, and resource planning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and design teams across multiple projects.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for utility clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and internal QA/QC requirements.
• Manage project forecasting, costs, staffing needs, risk, change management, and overall execution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with focus on repeat business and expanded services.
• Support proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, and new business development efforts.
• Provide regular reporting around project progress, schedule, costs, procurement, design issues, and potential risks.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, engineers, designers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Travel to client and project locations as needed.
