United Utility is seeking an Overhead Foreman responsible for overseeing construction and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure project completion aligns with design, budget, and schedule. This full-time position involves traveling for work, especially during storm recovery situations, and requires a CDL-A license. Candidates should be seasoned professionals with a commitment to safety and effective team management.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years' experience working on and around energized high-voltage primary electric lines.
Must possess a valid CDL-A license with a clear driving record.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to crews to ensure safe, efficient, and quality operations.
Thorough knowledge of overhead and underground distribution construction, maintenance, troubleshooting and operations including extensive switching experience.
Knowledge and ability to install, troubleshoot, replace and/or remove common distribution equipment including transformers, capacitors, regulators, and more.
Ensure work progress, equipment, and construction sites are safe, specifications are met, and work is according to schedule.
Provide on-the-job training and development of crew members in construction methods and safety procedures.
