Job summary

A utility service provider in the United States is seeking experienced A Class Linemen for long-term work on distribution lines. Candidates should have overhead distribution experience and demonstrate a commitment to safety and teamwork. This role offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to apply for a DOL Certified Apprenticeship after six months. A valid Class A CDL is highly preferred, and physical stamina is required for rigorous outdoor labor.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate readiness to grow into a greater role.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL, preferred by the company.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete overhead distribution work on the Duke system.
• Lead a crew in the assembly of structures at heights.
• Perform basic bucket rescue/escape operations.

Skills

Proficient in all aspects of energized line work

Able to perform rigorous physical labor

Professional demeanor with team and public

Proficient in understanding and reading blueprints

Capable of leading crew with minimal supervision

Proficient at operation of Bucket Truck and Digger Derrick

Education

HS Diploma or equivalent

Possession of Class A CDL (highly preferred)
