Job summary

Fabcon Precast is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 3rd shift with an overhead crane to safely operate machinery and move materials in a heavy manufacturing environment. Sunday-Thursday, 10pm start, on-site at our Michigan facility.

You will communicate with production crews, supply lines with materials, and help maintain safety as you perform duties, including overtime when required. This role requires physical effort and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation experience in a Heavy Manufacturing setting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate machinery safely.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of machinery on a daily basis.
• Delivering materials of various size and weight to the Production lines to supply them on a daily basis. (Wet concrete, fabricated steel, etc.)
• Maintain consistent communication between other operators and production crews throughout the day in order to provide exceptional service
• Properly dispose of scrap materials throughout the day
