Job summary

AMBSIMS & Associates Corp in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced Over The Road Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The role involves transporting goods over long distances, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

You will work six consecutive days with a 34-hour weekly reset, start between 4am and 9am, and typically spend 11–13 hours on the road with about five layovers weekly. A Class A CDL and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods over long distances in a safe and timely manner.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing the transportation of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport goods over long distances in a safe and timely manner
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing the transportation of goods
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Shift Details:

• Driver will work 6 consecutive days with a 34 hour reset each week
• Driver must be flexible to work any 6 days needed based off customer need
• Driver will reset over the road 2-3 times per month
• Driver will get a reset at home 1-2 times per month
• Start times: 4am-9am
• Driver will average a 11-13 hour day
• Driver will average 5 layovers per week
