Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Heavy Equipment Truck Driver in California to operate a heavy-duty tractor and trailer for pickups and deliveries of products sold and serviced by Raymond West. You will follow dispatch instructions, comply with DOT regulations, and maintain accurate logs and signatures.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 2 years of heavy equipment driving, and an unrestricted Class A California license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience handling Heavy Equipment.
• Must possess current, valid, unrestricted Class A California driver license with no more than the allowable level of points on record as determined by our insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy-duty tractor and trailer to pick up and deliver products.
• Follow dispatch directions and daily transportation schedule.
• Comply with DOT requirements, such as driver logs and random drug testing.
• Obtain customer signature on receipts and document condition of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle and respect safety procedures.
• Travel daily within assigned territories and be willing to work overtime when needed.
