Job summary

NEP Group in the United States is seeking a full-time Over the Road (OTR) Mobile Unit Driver to safely deliver and set up mobile studios for events nationwide. The role includes operating and maintaining equipment to NEP standards, assisting technicians with installation, and supporting remote productions at client sites.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL-A with a clean driving record, at least five years of OTR experience, and is capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Five plus years’ over-the-road experience driving a commercial CDL-A vehicle.
• A valid CDL Class A License with clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card; compliant with DOT regulations.
• Hands-on electronics repair/installation experience preferred; lift 50 pounds.
• Able to operate 18- and 10-speed manual transmissions.
• Willingness to travel across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Operates company trucks to support remote operations nationwide.
• Plans routes for economical use of time and equipment.
• Sets up and tears down trailers at events.
• Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinates maintenance with Penske facilities as needed.
• Complies with DOT documentation and safety regulations.
• Maintains trailer stock and provides technical support at events.
