Job summary

EMERY SAPP & SONS is seeking a CDL-A driver with a tanker endorsement to safely haul heavy equipment on lowboy trailers across job sites in Missouri and beyond. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, document hours, mileage and maintenance, and coordinate with project managers to schedule deliveries.

The role requires strong safety compliance and the ability to travel as needed. Excellent communication and time management are essential, and basic truck/trailer maintenance may be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tank endorsement.
• Valid DOT Med Cert with Non-Excepted Interstate self-certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on lowboy trailers transporting heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and best practices for equipment transport.
• Ability to operate during loading/unloading processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor trailer to transport heavy equipment.
• Ensure load weight compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document results.
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel, maintenance, and hours worked.
• Coordinate material transport with project managers and team.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Record hours worked using an ELD per Hours of Service.
