Job summary

National Trench Safety in Orlando, FL is seeking an Equipment Transport - Class A CDL Driver to safely move heavy equipment, load and unload rental gear, and support local branch duties when not on the road. You will comply with DOT regulations, perform pre-trip inspections, and coordinate with branch teams to meet delivery schedules while maintaining logs and safety standards.

This is a full-time role based in Orlando.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• 2+ years of interstate flatbed or heavy equipment hauling experience.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate per FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41-391.49.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to travel outside the local area and stay overnight.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including flatbeds and other trailers.
• Load and unload trench shoring and related rental equipment securely.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Coordinate equipment moves with branch teams to optimize schedules.
• Maintain logs and documentation per federal, state, and company policies.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Assist with yard or warehouse duties when not on the road.
• Other duties as assigned.
