Job summary

ABM Industries in Taylor, TX is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will follow strict procedures to protect product safety and quality while supporting daily site operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning buildings, managing cleaning materials, reporting repairs, and maintaining clear communication with managers and shift teams.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in GMP-regulated environments, preferably pharma/healthcare.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• No high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures.
• Clean interior surfaces, furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines and equipment.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
• Wash interior glass, windows, blinds; wipe tabletops and equipment in food areas.
• Gather and empty trash; perform incidental seasonal tasks.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. They ensure that all areas comply with regulatory requirements and uphold stringent cleanliness protocols to guarantee product safety and quality.

Shift:

Shift B Sunday - Tuesday Every other Saturday 5:45pm - 6am

Shift D Wednesday- Saturday with every other Saturday 5:45am -6pm

Pay: $20.12

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and empty trash
• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms F23

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in cleaning within a GMP-regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
