BrightStar Care of Locust Grove & McDonough is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver in-home care. You will drive up to 30 miles to visit clients and provide essential hygiene, mobility support, and daily living assistance under RN oversight.

Qualifications

• GA CNA license/certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience unless in Mentor Program.
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program.
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile.
• BLS/CPR certification and TB test or chest X-ray completed.

Responsabilités

• Drive up to 30 miles to client locations.
• Provide hygiene care and assistance as directed (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing).
• Assist with daily tasks (meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, transportation).
• Support mobility per care plan and document observed changes for nursing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to drive up to 30 miles
• Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements, if necessary
• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Must be willing to drive up to 30 miles
• High school diploma or GED
• Active GA CNA License/certification
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program
• Minimum of one (1) year of documented health care experience (unless participating in an approved Mentor Program)
• Certified BLS/CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
