Job Title: Orthopaedic Surgeon – Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon

This is an academic position with affiliation with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The applicant is expected to add to our educational mission by teaching medical students and Orthopaedic residents, and contribute meaningfully to our research program.

Responsibilities

• Expand the reach of our trauma service to additional sites within the system.
• Provide operative care for upper and lower extremity fractures, periarticular injuries, geriatric trauma and fragility fractures.
• Participate in the growing pelvic and acetabular fracture program, and the nonunion and limb deformity program.
• Share call broadly; average one day weekly.
• Engage in academic activities, including teaching and research.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery.
• Current or ability to obtain a New York State Medical License.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary of \$300,000‑\$800,000, with supplemental income opportunities through productivity incentives and additional call.
