Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Outside Shipper at our Abilene facility. The role runs Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as required, performing outdoor material handling and packing duties.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organization and housekeeping habits.
• Experience driving various forklifts.
• Mechanical background helpful for maintenance tasks.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and results oriented.
• Knowledge of Great Plains product structure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely load GP products on a variety of trailers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain paperwork accuracy and complete required logs.
• Be available for overtime or flexible hours on short notice.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude where needed.
• Adapt to changing tasks and environments.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear PPE as required.

Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1 st Shift Outside Shipper at our Abilene Facility.

This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-include the following:

• Safely load GP product on a variety of different trailers
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to maintain paperwork accuracy
• Must be able to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be open to change
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
