Denver, CO — Full-time position focused on selling and renting Compact Construction Equipment (Track Loaders, Mini Excavators, Telehandlers) in the Denver territory, with additional emphasis on renting Compact Construction Equipment and some Main Line Construction Equipment. Target customers include general contractors, utility contractors, concrete contractors, landscape/hardscape contractors, and earthmoving contractors.

Overview

The Compact Sales Specialist represents products focused on Compact Construction Equipment and is responsible for driving sales within the Denver territory, with a focus on rental activities and building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Represent and promote Compact Construction Equipment (Track Loaders, Mini Excavators, Telehandlers) and related rental options in the Denver territory.
  • Develop and manage a defined sales territory; prospect new business while nurturing and expanding relationships with an established customer base.
  • Maintain updated, thorough records of calls, leads, and sales forecasts within CRM software.
  • Demonstrate proactive sales approaches with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets.
  • Possess general knowledge of heavy construction equipment and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Apply selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales) and leverage retail financing knowledge as needed.
  • Work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
