Job summary

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking talented outside sales professionals to build relationships with contractor customers and promote great products. You will sell residential and commercial materials and leverage exclusive tools to drive business-to-business sales.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business, Sales or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with building products is a plus but not required.
• Must pass MVR and meet company insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Sell residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and lead follow-up.
• Provide training to customers on product lines and services.
• Assist customers with credit applications and payment processes.
• Follow up with customers and collect payments on past-due accounts.

At ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.Specific duties may include:Cultivating and managing customer relationshipsUtilizing sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patternsMaking cold calls to prospective customersFollowing sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customersFollowing up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern ariseProviding training to customers and their teams on various product lines and servicesAssisting customers in the credit application processConnecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessarySpecific qualifications include:College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferred but not requiredMust have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirementsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorSuperior time management and organization skillsABC Supply values hard work and dedication and rewards its associates with an excellent compensation package.
