Job summary

Master Halco, Fence & Deck Supply, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Professional to drive sales of fencing, perimeter security, and outdoor living products. You will perform face-to-face calls with current and prospective customers, build long-lasting relationships, and identify new growth opportunities.

The role includes one to two days per week in the branch office for quotes, orders, and admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or work equivalent.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in building materials industry and home center/hardware stores preferred.
• Fence or building materials industry experience desired.
• Internet research.
• Ability to use software to create presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.

Overview

Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products is seeking is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Professional!

In this role, the Outside Sales Professional will be responsible for driving the sales performance of the company’s fencing, perimeter security, and outdoor living products. You will be making face-to-face sales calls with existing and potential customers, building long lasting business relationships, and finding new opportunities for growth. While the majority of the time will be spent in the field meeting with existing and potential customer, this position will require one or two days a week working from the branch office making outbound calls, creating quotes and orders, assisting customers, and completing day-to-day administrative tasks.

Sales Performance

Customer Relationship

• Develop strong business relationships through face to face sales calls and relationship building activities
• Cultivate customers in this new area of business
• Determine what motivates each customer to purchase and respond accordingly

• Implement and execute sales growth strategies that are consistent with the company’s strategic plans
