Job summary

Certus Pest Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to run a defined territory with the support of a well-established home services organization. You’ll receive a company vehicle, leads, structured training, and a proven sales process while your performance drives earning potential and advancement opportunities.

You’ll build relationships, manage a real territory, and own the sales cycle from prospecting to kickoff. This role offers uncapped earnings and a clear path to leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and 5+ years of driving experience.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong prospecting and closing skills with a focus on building a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, generate referrals, and develop your territory into a real book of business.
• Conduct property inspections and diagnose pest control needs like a professional, not a salesperson reading a script.
• Build and present customized service proposals to homeowners and businesses.
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact to signed deal to service kickoff.
• Upsell additional services that grow income.
• Follow up on every lead fast to win deals.
• Partner with operations to ensure the first service is excellent.

• Respond to 95%+ of leads within 24 hours — speed wins dealsMaintain 98%+ accuracy in every proposal and contract — professionals don't leave money or trust on the table
• Grow your territory's recurring revenue quarter over quarter through prospecting and upselling
• Resolve customer issues fast, with zero repeat escalations — your reputation is your pipeline

What You'll Do

• Partner with our operations team to make sure every customer's first service experience is a great one

Preferred, Not Required

Previous outside sales or commission-based sales experience; background in home services, pest control, or another route-based industry. No pest control experience? We'll train you, what we can't train is drive.
