Job summary

BugHouse Pest Control is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Professional to inspect client needs, quote pest control solutions, and convert leads into loyal customers. You’ll travel within your community, building relationships and expanding our service footprint.

Training is provided with a path to commissions; a company vehicle and benefits are included. If you’re organized, personable, and motivated, you’ll thrive in our growing team.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred
• Willingness to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
• Experience in field sales or outside sales is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and provide quotes for pest control services.
• Generate new sales leads through cold calling, networking and partnerships.
• Transition prospects into BugHouse customers and manage relationships for repeat business.
• Attend regular training to stay updated on industry trends and services.
• Maintain safety standards while operating company vehicles and equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform Inspections and Provide Quotes: Conduct interior and exterior inspections, including attics and crawl spaces, then offer quotes to potential customers based on their needs.
• Sales and Lead Generation: Generate new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and forming strategic partnerships with businesses.
• Customer Transition: Communicate the value of our services to prospects and transition them into loyal Bughouse customers.
• Relationship Building: You’ll build and strengthen relationships with both internal and external customers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ongoing Learning: Attend regular training sessions and continuing education programs to stay on top of industry trends and enhance your skills.
• Safety First: Always maintain a safety-first mindset when operating company vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Sales experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods. Travel may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
• Ability to use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Work safely in crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
