W.B. Mason in Winchester, VA is seeking a full-time Market Development Specialist to drive outside sales and grow our local customer base. You’ll hit the road to meet businesses, demo products, and showcase MasonvilleGO while expanding opportunities for the company.

You’ll collaborate with inside sales and onboarding teams, participate in branch meetings, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package with strong growth potential at a privately owned company with a century of history.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, etc.
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS or BA) from a four-year college (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Hit the road to explore your assigned territory and introduce local businesses to W.B. Mason’s products and services.
• Meet with potential clients, uncover their needs, and demonstrate our full range of workplace products and services.
• Demo products, share web tools, offer custom pricing, and help new customers set up MasonvilleGO.
• Collaborate with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure smooth account transitions.
• Attend regular branch sales meetings to stay connected and supported while growing your market.

In This Market Development Specialist Role You Will

Your day will be full of energy, connection, and opportunity. You’ll start by hitting the road-on foot or by car-exploring your assigned territory and introducing local businesses to everything W.B. Mason has to offer. With flyers in hand and a consultative mindset, you’ll meet with potential clients, uncover their needs, and show them how our full range of workplace products and services can make their lives easier. You’ll demo products, share web tools, offer custom pricing, and help new customers get set up through MasonvilleGO. Along the way, you’ll work closely with inside sales and our onboarding teams to ensure every new account is smoothly transitioned and well taken care of. With regular branch sales meetings to keep you connected and supported, you’ll have the tools and team behind you to grow your market—and your outside sales career.
