Foundation Building Materials (FBM) in Memphis is seeking an Outside Sales professional to grow our contractor and builder relationships with value-driven solutions. You will identify opportunities, support clients, and drive long-term success in the field.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship-building, and presenting solutions in coordination with internal teams and vendor representatives.

Qualifications

• Effective and skillful communication, negotiation, and computer skills with the drive and passion to succeed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and social competency.
• Professional demeanor, organized and reliable.
• Ambition, a strong work ethic, and a student mentality.
• Two years of previous experience in Sales in building materials preferred.
• Fiberglass insulation background helpful (optional).

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales Support
• Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships
• Professional and courteous ongoing contact with customers before, during and after a sale
• Establishes and maintains relationships with key influencers of assigned contractors and/or strategic partners
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers, architects, contractors, designers, and building owners
• Develops and delivers sales presentations for new and existing customers in coordination with internal or vendor sale representatives
• Attend and participate in required company training session and essential vendor trainings
• Support Our Foundation in Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice
• Other duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales Support

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

• Base: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
