Rural King in New York is seeking an Outside Recovery Associate to support loadouts, outdoor merchandising, freight, and store appearance while providing excellent customer service. The role involves loading customer purchases into vehicles, maintaining outdoor areas, and ensuring a clean, safe shopping environment.

You will also price and replenish merchandise, assist with unloading deliveries, and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other retail equipment.

Qualifications

• Retail, customer service, warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners, computers, and retail equipment.
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn.

Responsabilités

• Price, zone, and replenish merchandise in load lanes, nurseries, bullpens, and other outdoor areas.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks and moving merchandise.
• Maintain clean and organized parking lots, cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor areas.
• Collect and return shopping carts.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, handheld scanners, and other retail equipment.
• Participate in cross-training and support other departments as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 30–50 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and ladder.
• Ability to work outdoors and navigate all required store areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and using handheld devices.
• Close vision required for computer-related activities.
