Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range for this position is a nationwide market range, reflecting a broad spectrum of salaries across the country. The actual salary will depend on factors such as role scope, complexity, location, candidate skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentives as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Salary Range

$101,300.00 - $167,000.00

What Is the Opportunity?

This position services Insureds/Agents in and around Portland, Oregon. The candidate must reside or be willing to relocate at their own expense. Under general direction, as part of the local line of business (LOB) management team, you will oversee product quality and team performance of Outside Property claim professionals. This includes guiding staff, conducting claim file reviews, and serving as a field representative for the Home Office Property product. The role is based 100% remotely, with a mix of mobile and home-office work.

What Will You Do?

  • Attract, Retain, and Develop Talent: Proactively recruit, onboard, manage performance, and develop staff; implement retention strategies and recognize top performers.
  • Provide Claim Services: Employ proper claim handling techniques, develop strategic file management plans, review claims, perform ride-alongs, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Drive Data and Technology Use: Leverage data and management information to support business strategies and improve results.
  • Achieve Solutions: Focus on resolution, process improvement, and cost management within budget.
  • Partner for Success: Build effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients; participate in meetings and agency visits. Obtain and maintain necessary insurance licenses and perform physically demanding inspections as required.

  • Claim management experience preferred

What Is a Must Have?

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least three years of claim work experience in one line of business
  • Valid Driver's License
