Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years related machining experience.
• On-the-job and informal training experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and technical specs in English.
• Able to apply common sense and follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace parts, adjust clearances and align moving parts.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, and measuring tools.
• Connect power units and test mechanical operation of equipment.
• Repair, lubricate, and assemble equipment and machinery.
• Guide other trades and assist in rigging, disassembly, reassembly and inspection as needed.
