Job summary

Service Partners is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Associate to expand our insulation and building products footprint across a multi-county territory in the Indianapolis area. You will manage your own territory, build relationships, present and negotiate, and work with a base plus commission compensation.

You will travel up to 75% of the time, build strong client relationships, and strive to exceed sales targets in a dynamic market environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience in related industries.
• Knowledge of building materials or insulation is a plus.
• Ability to read construction drawings is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales in a defined territory.
• Build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
• Present, negotiate, and close deals with customers.
• Process dealer orders and review system acknowledgements.
• Travel within a 250-mile radius, up to 75% of the time.

Your Responsibilities

We are seeking an ambitious, motivated Outside Sales Associate looking to help our fast-growing business grow even faster. If you are a top performer, want to manage your own territory, and produce at the highest pace with uncapped earnings; this is what you’ve been looking for.

• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Independently manage existing customers and prospecting activity in your territory.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills to process and review dealer orders, requests and system generated acknowledgements.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Skills

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• 3- 5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• General Contractor and Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Comprehension of construction drawings.

Travel Requirements

Flexibility to cover a territory with a 250-mile radius and overnight requirements.

Up to 75%.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range

$30,000.00 - $250,000.00
