Job summary

Washington Golf and Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Outside Golf Operations team member to support the 2026 season. This role focuses on assisting with golf bag handling, cart preparation, and maintaining practice facilities to club standards.

Responsibilities include greeting members, assisting with play, supporting tournament setup, and enforcing club policies with a professional, friendly demeanor. The position is outdoors, requires reliability, and offers growth opportunities within golf

Qualifications

• Willingness to lift and move golf bags and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Prior golf knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist with bags and equipment.
• Prepare, stage, clean, and store golf carts to club standards.
• Maintain practice facilities (driving range, greens, short game areas).
• Manage bag drop area and organize member bags.
• Provide accurate information about services, course conditions and daily play.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of tournaments and events.
• Ensure outside service areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
• Monitor pace of play and communicate with golf staff.
• Enforce club policies professionally.

The Outside Operations Employee is responsible for delivering exceptional service to members and guests by supporting the day-to-day golf operations. This role ensures a seamless golf experience by maintaining practice facilities, assisting with golf cart operations, and providing professional, courteous service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist with golf bags and equipment
• Prepare, stage, clean, and store golf carts to club standards
• Maintain the practice facilities, including driving range, putting greens, and short game areas (e.g., picking range balls, replenishing tees, and ensuring cleanliness)
• Manage the bag drop area and organize member bags in the storage room
• Provide accurate information regarding club services, course conditions, and daily play
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of golf tournaments and events
• Ensure all outside service areas are clean, organized, and presentable
• Monitor pace of play and communicate effectively with golf staff when needed
• Enforce club policies in a professional and respectful manner

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry golf bags (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Schedule Requirements:

Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
