Job summary

Dealer Tire, an established tire and parts distributor, is seeking an Outside Account Manager to act as a strategic advisor for a dealership portfolio and drive growth across products and services.

You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, coaching dealers, and collaborating with Service and Parts managers to optimize pricing and inventory while maintaining strong relationships. This role emphasizes accountability and a high-energy approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience selling with territory management.
• Highly organized with strong follow up skills.
• Understanding of all sales process aspects and ability to negotiate and close deals.
• Located within assigned territory.
• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to sell at the top.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio to meet and exceed sales and productivity goals with all products.
• Assist dealers in maximizing the financial opportunity of the program through a customized action plan.
• Drive service advisor effectiveness, training, and overall retail strategies through coaching and training to maximize the business opportunity across all products.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager, Parts Manager, and other dealer stakeholders to determine product screen, inventory levels, and set competitive pricing to meet business objectives.
• Develop and maintain consistent monthly contact schedule with dealers.
• Manage all activity tracking and account information in Salesforce.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and share best practices across the team and the dealership network to support continuous improvement.

Base Pay Range

$71,196 - $88,842

Targeted Annual Commission

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio to meet and exceed sales and productivity goals with all products.

• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to sell at the top.

Physical Job Requirements

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Frequent bending, crouching, and twisting.
• Extensive driving and traveling to customer accounts (up to 80%).
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Meet the requirements of Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy.
