The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a unique educational program at Sacramento State that assists students from migrant and seasonal farm worker backgrounds to succeed in obtaining a college degree. Students receive outreach, admission, academic, and personal support services to ease the transition from high school to Sacramento State. CAMP admits 70 freshmen every year and provides follow-up services to approximately 300 continuing students.
The position is responsible for recruiting eligible students to the CAMP program by providing one‑on‑one and group information and assistance concerning higher education enrollment opportunities, policies, and procedures to prospective migrant and under‑represented students and their families. The position is responsible for executing all outreach activities and special projects, and for maintaining the case management for outreach.

This is a full‑time, non‑exempt (eligible for overtime pay), benefited position that is covered under the California Public Employees’ Retirement System. Continued employment in this position is dependent upon the mutual consent of University Enterprises and the employee, and either University Enterprises or the employee can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause.
