The selected candidate must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire.
The employee in this position typically works in an office or administrative environment and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. The employee must be able to exert up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or negligible amounts constantly. The position requires walking and/or standing to a significant degree.
The employee in this position is required to use a County-provided laptop, cell phone, and a County vehicle to travel within Maricopa County for work purposes. Operating a County vehicle requires a valid driver's license and attendance in Maricopa County's Defensive Driving Course. The employee may be required to wear safety footwear, eye protection, hearing protection, a hard hat, a high-visibility vest, and safety gloves. These items will be provided by the department.
