Job summary

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an approved Phlebotomy School/Program, or 1+ years’ experience performing venipunctures in a hospital setting.

JOB SUMMARY

Makes certain that orders are complete and authorized and contain patient information needed for billing purposes. Registers patient orders. Performs therapeutic phlebotomies. Performs general office/clerical responsibilities and phlebotomy. Maintain inventory supply. Option to perform Point of Care tests.

Requirements Include

• Will be driving personal car and insurance verfication
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an approved Phlebotomy School/Program, or 1+ years’ experience performing venipunctures in a hospital setting
• Experience in phlebotomy preferred.
• CPR certification required within 4 months of employment and must be current at all times thereafter
