Job DetailsJob Location: Seneca Healthcare District - Chester, CA 96020Education Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $25.00 - $34.91 HourlyJob Shift: Day ShiftSummary The Outreach Collaboration Specialist strengthens partnerships, coordinates Outreach initiatives, and supports organizational strategic priorities through effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. This position serves as a key liaison between internal departments, community partners, and Outreach stakeholders to advance organizational goals and improve service delivery throughout the region.

Essential Functions
Strategic Projects, Partnerships & Community Engagement
  • Coordinate organization-wide strategic initiatives, service line development, and special projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop project timelines, monitor milestones, track outcomes, and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration among internal departments, healthcare providers, community organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and regional partners.
  • Serve as a liaison between Seneca Healthcare District and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and advance shared organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration, funding, workforce development, healthcare access, and community wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workgroups, community engagement activities, and partnership communications.
  • Maintain partnership records and track engagement activities, outcomes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Marketing, Communications & Events
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Department to support outreach, public relations, community engagement, and organizational branding efforts.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of communication strategies promoting organizational initiatives, partnerships, services, programs, and events.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials, newsletters, stakeholder communications, community updates, and informational resources.
  • Plan, coordinate, promote, and support community events, educational programs, stakeholder meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, vendor and partner relationships, sponsorships, and post-event evaluations.
  • Identify and promote organizational accomplishments, success stories, and community impact initiatives that support the District's mission, vision, and values.
Patient Experience & Organizational Support
  • Support patient experience initiatives by coordinating complaint and grievance processes, investigating concerns, and facilitating timely resolutions.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction feedback, conduct patient rounding and follow-up activities, and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Support leadership through research, reporting, presentations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning activities.
  • Facilitate cross-department communication, collaboration, and process improvement efforts that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide support and education related to quality improvement, risk management, patient experience, and organizational initiatives.
  • Participate in committees, workgroups, and other assigned duties that support organizational goals and continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and policy and procedure development. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop effective process improvements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments, facilitate meetings, provide education, and effectively address patient and staff concerns. Ability to interpret regulations, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently while promoting continuous improvement and organizational excellence.

Physical Requirements, Safety, and Environmental Conditions

Follows safe work practices, takes an active interest in preventing injury or illness and promoting a safe and healthful environment for self and others, and complies with Hospital and governmental safety regulations. Must function independently, have personal integrity, have flexibility and the ability to work effectively with other personnel, clients, and support agencies. Sits, stands, bends, lifts, walks, and moves intermittently during working hours and ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
