Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Florida licensure.
• Board Certification in Medical Oncology through ACVIM or residency training in Medical Oncology.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
• Interest in outpatient Medical Oncology within a focused specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage oncology cases in collaboration with internal medicine, surgery and neurology teams.
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans for oncologic patients.
• Oversee chemotherapy protocols and ensure safe, evidence-based treatment practices.
• Perform and/or order advanced diagnostics to support diagnosis, staging and monitoring.
• Coordinate patient care and referrals with surgeons, neurologists and other specialists.
• Support daily client communication and ongoing case coordination.
• Mentor technicians and support staff in oncology case management.
• Build and maintain relationships with referring veterinarians.
